Adbusters — Buy Nothing Day

Buy Nothing Day, set up by Adbusters is an event held once a year were we are encouraged not to shop and to think a little about what the values are of a society that regards consumerism as so important. This was a reworking of a commercial done some time ago by Bill Maylone. We thought it was a really strong but the typography, animation and music needed updating to be more contemporary. This is part of Barnbrook’s ongoing print and film collaborations with Adbusters. Further details at Adbusters.
